Growing up I always had a fascination with telling stories. Armed with nothing more than a tablet and some LEGO, I dabbled in a little bit of stop-motion. Many years later I enrolled in my high schools Media Studies class where I rediscovered my passion for storytelling and creative expression,
During my time at high school I explored the art of filmmaking and developing short films with my classmates, One film in particular was a finalist in the School Shorts 2022 Film Festival and was screened at Reading Cinema.
During my final year of High School I was given multiple opportunities to film in-schools events such as: Rugby games, ceremonies, and school Assemblies this gave me access to tools such as Gimbals, and drones. This opened my eyes to the world of content creation.
After graduating High School with two merit endorsements in media studies, I attended ‘Yoobee College of Creative Innovation’ and studied both Level 5 Film/Content Creation and Level 6 Film/TV Production. Under the guidance of Micheal Lucas, John Hyde and Sean O’Donnell I was able to better craft my skills as a videographer and a filmmaker.
Since launching myself into the creative sector I have worked with companies such as: Yoobee College, Brooksfield Homes, LODG, Afirmo NZ, Publica, and Beyond Reality Media.
